Covid Isolation Rule Changes
From Monday 17 January, people with COVID-19 in England can end their self-isolation after 5 full days, as long as they test negative on day 5 and day 6 and do not have a temperature. Individuals who are still positive on their rapid lateral flow tests must stay in isolation until they have had 2 consecutive negative tests taken on separate days starting on day 5.
The attached letter provides clarity for parents in relation to testing, isolation etc. in relation to Covid and reflects current guidance.
Aladdin at Bracken Leas
We have had a great morning with M & M Theatrical Productions and their production of Aladdin today. A traditional Bracken Leas annual event, historically funded by FOBL donations, this pantomime puts a smile on everyone’s faces each year. A big thank you to the FOBL team for their support for these performances.
Online Safety & Wellbeing
Simon Aston, Online Safety & Wellbeing Office, will be visiting our school on Monday 24th January to run some workshops with our Year 5 and Year 6 children. Following on from these we have arranged a ‘Safeguarding in Education Parent Session’ for all year groups that same evening. This meeting will be held a 6pm on Monday 24th January. Please check you emails for details on how to join the Zoom call.
