Welcome to our Weekly Newsletter where we share relevant information with you about what has been happening here at Bracken Leas and events planned in future weeks.

The Warrior Challenge 2021, planned for 28th May, is now only 3 weeks away. We thought it would be good to take a nostalgic look back at the last Warrior Challenge event held in 2019. In the past there have been 4 previous events, always a highlight of the school calendar for everyone involved.

During this event we were very fortunate to receive the support of the Brackley Leisure Centre team throughout the day as well as the FOBL Team and parent volunteers. As you can see, everyone had an amazing time, raising funds to support the purchase of laptops for use in school. As well as being in constant use within school, these have proved to be an invaluable resource over the pandemic when many were loaned to families.

This year Mrs Smallpage and FOBL have an ambitious target of raising £7000. We are hopeful that this will be the final push in enabling us to replace the existing trim trail over the next few months, complementing all of the hard work that is taking place redeveloping the Eco Area, creating an exciting and stimulating outdoor environment for the children to use.

We will be sharing more information with you soon about timings and arrangements for the day of the event. We hope that every child will take part and enjoy getting wet and muddy. Photos and video footage will be shared throughout the day on Social Media.
