Health & Safety

We would like to remind you that the road outside our school on Pavillons Way is a 20 mph zone. Please be mindful of this when travelling along this route.

There has also been an instance this week of individuals crossing the road in front of a bus. Please use the Zebra Crossing opposite the main school gate to cross Pavillons Way, and ensure that children walking themselves too and from school also use the crossing.

Secondhand Uniform Sale

Lots of good quality items in all sizes available to buy at Parents’ Evenings next week. Don’t forget to bring some change along. £1 per item, £3 for logo jumpers and cardigans.

Can you help man our stall for 30 minutes? Please let a member of the FOBL team know.

Aldi’s Kit For Schools

This September, Aldi’s Kit for Schools is giving 20 primary schools the chance to win £20,000 to kick start a health legacy for pupils. The Get Stuck In resources offer support to launch the campaign in schools and a range of fun activities to enthuse pupils about healthy eating, exercise and other healthy habits, while developing higher-order thinking skills.

Taking part:

  • Collect. please pick up the Team GB stickers whenever you spend £30 in any Aldi store!
  • Bring the stickers to school and stick them on the poster (to be displayed in the school hall). Once we collect 300 Team GB stickers we could receive an exclusive school sports kit and be in with the chance to win one of 20 prizes of £20,000 to build a health legacy at Bracken Leas

We are asking all our pupils, their families (and even their extended families) to keep an eye out for the stickers and send them in as soon as you can.

Many thanks for your co-operation and happy collecting!
