Sponsorship Forms – Laura Samuel Visit

We are really looking forward to our visit from Olympic Athlete Laura Samuel next Tuesday. Please return your sponsorship forms to us by Monday at the latest.

A huge thanks to our FOBL team for organising us taking part in the new Santa Float Round on Sunday raising £526 for our school. In addition, our mufti day on Friday raised £360 of funds towards the creation of the new float. Finally, the Line Dancing raised £126 on Friday.


Ticketing for Early Years and Key Stage 1 Performances

We have now set up ticketing for our Early Years performances being held on the 12th. This has been sent out via ParentMail. If you are a parent of an Early Years child but you have not received any communication regarding this, and would like to come, please contact the school office.

In addition, you may be aware that we have had some issues relating to tickets for the KS1 performances. This has now been resolved and a ParentMail message will be coming out at 7pm this evening which will enable you to make your booking.

Terry Goode’s Coaching Academy

We have forms in the office for Terry Goode’s Coaching Academy. Please come and collect one if your child is interested in taking part in this next term.

Please note that there will be NO hot school meal provision on either the 14th December, due to Santa Day, or on the 20th December due to class Christmas Parties.

The Dolce Christmas lunch has been booked for Thursday 13th December. Parents are reminded that if they have ordered until the end of term, they need to go on to the Live Kitchen website and re book that day in order to see and book the Christmas menu.

Lunch will consist of Turkey, Roast Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Stuffing and gravy followed by either Festive Crumble and Custard, Ice-cream & Sprinkles or Fresh Fruit Salad. 

If your child would like a Christmas Lunch but would not normally have a hot school meal or is not registered please email us at enquiries@brackenleas.northants.sch.uk with details of your child’s name, Date of Birth and Year Group in addition to parents name and email address.

Clubs and Music Information


This term’s School Clubs have now finished and will resume in January. We are currently working on our revised club list and will let you know as soon as this is available.

Terry Goode Multiskills/Football will return on the 8th & 9th of January 2019.

Hotshots will return on Thursday 10th January 2019.

Music Tuition is scheduled as follows;

  • Monday – Guitar & Singing
  • Tuesday – Brass & strings
  • Wednesday – Woodwind (Rescheduled from the 12th to 14th December)
  • Thursday Keyboard/Piano
