The festivities continue this week at Bracken Leas! Year 2 are off to Peter Pan on Tuesday and our Early Years children and Year 3/4 are rehearsing hard for their performances on Wednesday. On Thursday we are holding our School Christmas Lunch and Friday is Christmas Jumper Day in support of the NSPCC as well as FOBL Santa Day!

Week Commencing Monday 9th December

Monday 9th & Tuesday 10th December @3.15 Key Stage 1 Computing Area – Scholastic Book Fair

Stock up on Christmas gifts! All commission will be used for new books for our school.

Tuesday 10th December – 11.30-5.45 (approx)

Our Year 2 Children will be going on a trip to see Peter Pan. All children will need a packed lunch to eat before we leave school and a snack to enjoy during the interval. They should also come in school uniform on this day.

Wednesday 11th December @9.30 & 2.30 – Early Years Nativity

Wednesday 11th December @6pm  – Year 3-4 Performance St Peter’s Church

Thursday 12th December  – Whole School Christmas Lunch

Thursday 12th December  – Year 5 Mystery Island Afternoon Tea @2.30

Friday 13th December – Christmas Jumper Day in aid of NSPCC

Please bring in a £1 donation and come in wearing your Christmas Jumper on this day.

Upcoming FOBL Events 

Friday 13th December – FOBL  Christmas Santa Day

Visits to Father Christmas will take place throughout the day with staff in the morning and with parents from 2pm.

The hall will be open to all from 2pm with Christmas Games, Lucky Dip, Tombola and a Luxury Hamper Prize Draw. 

If your child is visiting Santa between 2-3.15 please arrive 5 minutes before your slot. Santa’s Elves will direct you to your child’s classroom to collect them along with their belongings.
