Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.
In April 2017 Bracken Leas joined The Hawksmoor Learning Trust as part of its conversion to academy status. As such it is subject to the same inspection guidelines as any new academy. This is because when a maintained school converts to academy status it becomes a new school with a new legal status. Under these circumstances the school will usually be inspected within three years of opening.
Bracken Leas was inspected in March 2020, the first inspection since joining The Hawksmoor Learning Trust as part of its conversion to academy status. We have now been rated as a Good school by Ofsted. To view the full report please click on the button below.
In addition, Parent View is an on-line questionnaire and is the main source for gathering parents’ and carers’ views about the school when it is inspected.
Parent View also gives parents and carers the chance to share with us and Ofsted your opinion of your child’s school at any other time.
We would very much welcome feedback through this site as well as through the usual channels.
