Great playing after only a few lesson!
Friday 30th November – Mufti Day!!! We are holding this event in aid of the Brackley Round Table Santa Float. Children are invited to wear mufti on this day to assist fund raising efforts for the new float. Please bring in £1 to take part.
A huge thanks to everyone for all of your contributions to @BBCCiN on Friday. All of your efforts have helped us to raise an incredible £1455 for Children in Need! A special thanks you to Mrs Castle and School Council for all of their hard work.

All staff carry identity badges and all visitors are expected to wear a badge on a red lanyard. All visitors and staff must sign in and out at the front office.

A fire evacuation drill is held at least once every term to ensure that everyone knows the correct procedure so that the building can be evacuated quickly. Procedure sheets are displayed and fire extinguishers and fire blankets are found around the school. Please familiarise yourself with the fire procedures that are printed on the back of the visitors badges if you are volunteering or working in school.

The Site Supervisor, Jim Possinger is the Health and Safety representative and, with the Governor’s committee, makes checks and reports to the Headteacher and the full Governing Body.

Access to school outside of normal hours

The Pavillons Way gates are open between the hours of 8.30am until 8.50am and 3.00pm to 3.30pm. At other times access will be through the main entrance, next to the school office, which is supervised at all times and has a security lock attached.

Smoking policy

Bracken Leas School is a No Smoking site. This applies to the buildings and all the grounds. It also applies to all contractors and visitors working at our school.

Clearance to work in our school

We welcome parents as regular volunteers in school but must ensure that all adults working regularly with the children are cleared by the Disclosure and Barring Service (formally CRB).  Please contact the school office for the required forms.
