On Wednesday last week we took a trip to the Cotswold Wildlife Park with our Year 5 children. Our visit was planned to coincide with the start of their new topic this term which is Born Wild. Everyone had a fantastic day, helped by the unseasonably warm, sunny weather. Last year our previous year 5 children had braved snow on their visit!
During our day we toured the park, spotting lots of different animals, who were also out enjoying the sunshine. We also had talks from staff at the park about life systems and how life cycles differ between different creatures such as frogs, butterflies and marsupials.
Everyone had a fantastic day and the children were very well behaved. In keeping with the theme of the day we were even treated to a rendition of ‘Baby Shark’ on the coach on the way to and from the park!
Here are some photos from our day.
